Featuring a Hand Forged Hand Made Sterling Silver Oxidised Evil Eyeball Necklace on 18" delicate silver chain with 12mm Brass Spiderweb Bezel-set Onyx gemstone.

Measurements: Eyeball - 12mm Onyx gemstone. 55.8mm height x 43.5mm width x 1.7mm thickness. Weight 26g. Fully hallmarked at The London Assay Office as is legally required for silver above 7.78g in weight.

Hand forged from silver sheet and wire. 
Material: Sterling silver. I do not recommend that this item is worn in water or exposed to chemicals such as perfumes, lotions and cleaning products. Sterling silver will oxidise (blacken) over time, it can be polished with an inexpensive sunshine cloth. However, over-polishing may alter the finished look of the piece.

PROCESS
Brass bezel strip is formed around stone before the ends are filed and soldered together. Eyeball is hand sawn from silver sheet before being filed and soldered onto a silver backplate. It is then picked in citric acid to remove flux and oxidation before the excess back sheet is removed with a saw. The bezel is then soldered in place. A jump ring is then formed around bail forming pliers before being hammered flat, filed and soldered through the loop of the pendant. The pendant is then filed and sanded before being oxidised in liver of sulphur. Excess patina is removed until desired finish is achieved. The stone is set in place. The pendant is then sent to the assay office to be verified and hallmarked.
