Measurements: Pendant- 53.8mm height x 25.8mm width x 1.6mm thickness. Weight 10g. Fully hallmarked at The London Assay Office as is legally required for silver above 7.78g in weight.

Hand forged from silver sheet and wire. 
Material: Sterling silver. I do not recommend that this item is worn in water or exposed to chemicals such as perfumes, lotions and cleaning products. Sterling silver will oxidise (blacken) over time, it can be polished with an inexpensive sunshine cloth. However, over-polishing may alter the finished look of the piece.

PROCESS

Finger is drawn on paper before being attached to and hand sawn from silver sheet. It is then soldered on to a silver backplate. It is picked in citric acid to remove flux and oxidation before the excess back sheet is removed with a saw. A bail is formed around pliers and soldered to the back before jump rings are looped through and soldered shut. The pendant is then filed and sanded before being oxidised in liver of sulphur. Excess patina is removed until desired finish is achieved. The pendant is then sent to the assay office to be verified and hallmarked.
