Featuring a casino chip pendant with hand stamped backplate. Sterling silver. Weight 12g. Fully hallmarked (including commemorative Jubilee mark) as per legal requirements. Hangs on an 18” barleycorn chain with bolt closure fastening. One of a kind.

Hand forged from silver sheet and wire. 
Material: Sterling silver. I do not recommend that this item is worn in water or exposed to chemicals such as perfumes, lotions and cleaning products. Sterling silver will oxidise (blacken) over time, it can be polished with an inexpensive sunshine cloth. However, over-polishing may alter the finished look of the piece.

PROCESS
Silver wire is formed around the casino chip and soldered closed, Sterling silver sheet is hand stamped with a hammer and punch. The wire bezel is then soldered on to the sheet backplate before the excess is removed with a jewellers saw, A jump ring is formed on a mandrel from silver wire and soldered on to the rear of the pendant. Barleycorn chain is cut to length and jump rings and bolt rings are soldered onto the ends to provide a secure fastening. After sanding, polishing and patinating the finished pendant is attached to the chain with a jump ring. The completed necklace is sent to the London Assay office for official hallmarking as per legal requirement,
