Featuring an aluminium domino set in sterling silver with a half round sterling silver band. Perfect for statement wear but comfortable enough for daily. UK size U.

Hand made from aluminium dominoes and sterling silver sheet and wire. 
Material: Sterling silver contains copper. It will tarnish to black over time. Contact with chemicals such as perfumes or chlorine can accelerate this process. It is not recommended that these items are worn in water. Sterling silver can be brought back to its original shine with an inexpensive sunshine cloth. Impressions are coloured with black enamel. Submersion in water will lead to the fading of these impressions. To restore the dark colour, use an impressart enamel pen or industrial sharpie and wipe away any excess.

PROCESS

Fine silver bezel wire is formed around an aluminium domino and cut to size. This is soldered together before being soldered on to a sterling silver back plate. The excess is removed with a jewellers saw. A ring band is formed out of D-shaped sterling silver wire and soldered on to the revere of the backplate. After several rounds of sanding and polishing the domino is inserted into the setting and the silver is pushed around it to hold it in place.

ABOUT US
Hendrix and Rogue is an independent jewellery brand run by me, Christy from my home in Surrey. The name comes from the names of my two children (my creativity has limitations.) When the boys were born I had to find a way to work around being a single mum. I left my prison psychology job of a decade and taught myself how to smith watching youtube videos. I have built myself a workshop and my aim is to be learning and challenging myself constantly. I wont make anything I wouldn't wear myself and I'm always open to custom ideas.
